Rawang Terminal will be in Aduan Rakyat

There was a meeting with Mr Jaffry Azman from Aduan Rakyat TV3 with us (owner and tenants) of Rawang Terminal held on 12 July 2010. The coverage made at terminal area, illegal bus station and old bus stop and old town of Rawang. Some of the shop owners and the bus drivers were interviewed.

Representative from developer. Giving reasons but was denied by Dato Ir Nasir about many things. Dato came with a tick file with all the documents of Rawang terminal. Thank you Dato for your support. We appreciate your presence!


We are tired with so many explanations and excuses..We bought the shop lot and we have to pay to the bank but we have no business...It was a long pain that we suffered!

This picture was taken by me at Rawang market. I saw him while I was on my way to buy some vegetables. Sitting by the road side with a container to be filled with money from the passers by. His life goes on the same way every day at different places. I only saw him once!

Terminal bas Rawang lengang

TERMINAL bas Rawang sudah siap sepenuhnya dan dibuka dengan rasminya pada 7 Disember tahun lalu. Kami peniaga yang membeli lot kedai di terminal itu menarik nafas lega selepas sekian lama menunggu dan terpaksa menanggung beban kewangan akibat kelewatan terminal beroperasi.

Namun nafas lega kami itu sekadar retorik, kerana hanya bas Seri Jaya dan Metro yang menggunakan terminal terbabit, itupun di bahagian tepi bangunan manakala bas mini dan teksi masih beroperasi di tempat lama.Banyak kedai terpaksa ditutup akibat tidak dapat menampung sewa, tidak kurang juga yang bertukar tangan kerana sudah tidak mampu lagi menanggung kos.

Di bahagian hadapan bertentangan pasar raya Mydin, kelihatan banyak lot tempat letak bas ekspres, namun sehingga kini cerita bas ekspres seakan sepi dan kami hanya melihat lot itu diganti dengan kereta dan lori kecil.

Ramai yang datang bertanya kepada kami di mana tempat untuk membeli tiket bas untuk ke Sitiawan, Ipoh atau mana-mana destinasi lagi. Saya hanya sekadar menuding ke kaunter tiket yang bertutup bagaikan stor usang sambil memaklumkan tiada bas ekspres di situ.

Menjelang jam 8 malam tiada lagi bas untuk ke Bukit Sentosa, Bukit Beruntung atau kawasan berhampiran meskipun penumpang difahamkan bas akhir ke destinasi berhampiran ialah sekitar jam 9.30 malam.
Saya diberitahu bas mengambil penumpang di tepi jalan berhampiran bomba Rawang yang secara tidak rasmi bertukar menjadi terminal baru. Bas Seri Jaya dan Metro sekadar berhenti di terminal sebagai syarat dan kemudian berhenti di tepi jalan berhampiran bomba bagi mengambil dan menurunkan penumpang.

Kami tidak tahu sampai bila kami harus menunggu. Perniagaan kami makin teruk sedangkan kami bakal berdepan tindakan bank akibat masalah pembayaran balik pinjaman.

Bagaimana nasib kami peniaga di sini? Sampai bila kami harus menanti sedangkan banyak wang sudah habis kami keluarkan untuk ubah suai dan juga untuk memulakan perniagaan.

Another Trip to Pengkalan Hulu

Departed at 11.30pm after closing City Cafe. We drove slowly in the midnight by Plus North-South Highway. Had our morning breakfast at 7 O'clock in the morning at Gerik and continue our Journey to MRSM Pengkalan Hulu.
We reached the place just 5 minutes before 8. I left my husband there and we continue our journey!

Again... while waiting for my husband, I took my children to Malaysia-Thailand border. With the consent from the police in duty, I drove my car into Thailand border. I called PGA Iskandar whom I knew in my earlier visit. He was surprised to know that we were there again and a bit dissapointed that he could not plan something for us due to our short stay.

Pulut Kuning for Nina

We had a small occasion for my daughter and her friends at my cafe on 16 March 2010. The pulut kuning was prepared by my mom and few close friends of my daughter we invited.
I am proud of her for her very hard working in study. Hoping the rest of my kids will follow her.

Happy Moment for my daughter Amanina Sukor

The result of SPM 2009 was announced on the 12th March 2009. It was of course a happy day for me when my daughter brought back straight A's for all nine subjects taken.
It was worth to send her to boarding school and all the trouble that we had to take for a two year stay in Sabak Bernam.

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all teachers and friends in Sabak Bernam and also family and friends of mine for their prays.

The happy moment was shared among business friends especially at Rawang Terminal and Mydin's staffs. One of my customer (Faiz) treated Pizza Hut for my daughter. Thank you so much to Faiz and all his friends for the happy moment shared together! It was something unforgettable!

I appreciated so much on my daughter's hardworking, understanding, patience and sacrify during her stay in Sabak Bernam.

Rest Day for City Cafe

Today is 27 January 2009 and it is a rest day of my cafe. I have been running my cafe for more than a month. During that length of period I met many types of people and experienced many things.
For the beginning, I only served nasi lemak, nasi ayam, curry mee, waffle and burger. But now we have few additional menu such as lontong and soto. The lodeh (kuah of lontong) and soto is prepared by my Indonesian maid. She is from Surabaya and very hardworking. I feel that 80% of my burden in house works is now taken care by her. The sad thing is...she only be with me for few months. She came to Malaysia for personal matter and the problem is now solved. So it's time for her to leave in few months time...
My business is now improving compared to last time. For my City Cyber.., nothing much change except for the increased number in computer class and additional of English class conducted by Mr Durai.

In Rawang Terminal, the spaces allocated for express buses still not occupied. Complain still heard among commuters. We still have to wait and the date is unknown! I hate to talk about this.

Well, just to share with you all few photos that I have in my collection..
My customers - Bangladeshi...I asked him why he was wearing a long sleeve shirt at night with a short!It looked funny and he said it was their style!

Self made burger...my customer was given the chance to make burger in their own way..(for regular customer only)

My younger brother joined me to work in my cafe. I really appreciate for his presence

My Indonesian worker Ina (holding broom) in her own style and the most expensive worker that I paid (making burger) is imported from Timur Leste...Mr Azizan (he is my next door neighbour actually) showing his talent in making burger to his sons...this man is kaki pukul,,...so please make a distance... ha..ha..ha!!!

This guy used to tell the whole world that he is the most handsome man in the world! Do you think so?
