Terminal Rawang Lengang

Petikan Berita Harian 28 May 2010 (written by me)

Terminal bas Rawang lengang
2010/05/28

PENIAGA KECEWA,
Rawang, Selangor.

Another Trip to Pengkalan Hulu

Departed at 11.30pm after closing City Cafe. We drove slowly in the midnight by Plus North-South Highway. Had our morning breakfast at 7 O'clock in the morning at Gerik and continue our Journey to MRSM Pengkalan Hulu.
We reached the place just 5 minutes before 8. I left my husband there and we continue our journey!
Foggy view early in the morning

Arrived MRSM Pengkalan Hulu 5 minutes before the programme started

Again... while waiting for my husband, I took my children to Malaysia-Thailand border. With the consent from the police in duty, I drove my car into Thailand border. I called PGA Iskandar whom I knew in my earlier visit. He was surprised to know that we were there again and a bit dissapointed that he could not plan something for us due to our short stay.

Pulut Kuning for Nina

We had a small occasion for my daughter and her friends at my cafe on 16 March 2010. The pulut kuning was prepared by my mom and few close friends of my daughter we invited.
I am proud of her for her very hard working in study. Hoping the rest of my kids will follow her.

Happy moment for them to be together again.

Happy Moment for my daughter Amanina Sukor

The result of SPM 2009 was announced on the 12th March 2009. It was of course a happy day for me when my daughter brought back straight A's for all nine subjects taken.
It was worth to send her to boarding school and all the trouble that we had to take for a two year stay in Sabak Bernam.

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all teachers and friends in Sabak Bernam and also family and friends of mine for their prays.

The happy moment was shared among business friends especially at Rawang Terminal and Mydin's staffs. One of my customer (Faiz) treated Pizza Hut for my daughter. Thank you so much to Faiz and all his friends for the happy moment shared together! It was something unforgettable!

Faiz and the gang

Special thanks is dedicated to SBPI Sabak Bernam for their well planned schedule for their students.

I appreciated so much on my daughter's hardworking, understanding, patience and sacrify during her stay in Sabak Bernam.

Rest Day for City Cafe

Today is 27 January 2009 and it is a rest day of my cafe. I have been running my cafe for more than a month. During that length of period I met many types of people and experienced many things.
For the beginning, I only served nasi lemak, nasi ayam, curry mee, waffle and burger. But now we have few additional menu such as lontong and soto. The lodeh (kuah of lontong) and soto is prepared by my Indonesian maid. She is from Surabaya and very hardworking. I feel that 80% of my burden in house works is now taken care by her. The sad thing is...she only be with me for few months. She came to Malaysia for personal matter and the problem is now solved. So it's time for her to leave in few months time...
My business is now improving compared to last time. For my City Cyber.., nothing much change except for the increased number in computer class and additional of English class conducted by Mr Durai.

In Rawang Terminal, the spaces allocated for express buses still not occupied. Complain still heard among commuters. We still have to wait and the date is unknown! I hate to talk about this.

Well, just to share with you all few photos that I have in my collection..
My customers - Bangladeshi...I asked him why he was wearing a long sleeve shirt at night with a short! It looked funny and he said it was their style!

Self made burger...my customer was given the chance to make burger in their own way..(for regular customer only)

My younger brother joined me to work in my cafe. I really appreciate for his presence

My Indonesian worker Ina (holding broom) in her own style and the most expensive worker that I paid (making burger) is imported from Timur Leste...Mr Azizan (he is my next door neighbour actually) showing his talent in making burger to his sons...this man is kaki pukul,,...so please make a distance... ha..ha..ha!!!

This guy used to tell the whole world that he is the most handsome man in the world! Do you think so?

Daniel, my nephew - very naughty and fierce!

My sister Roshidah and her maid - used to visit me whenever she has free time

I received complain from my regular customers - hard for them to get food due to City Cafe closed! We are very sorry for any incovenience caused!
Bye

The Opening Of Rawang Terminal

7 November 2009

I woke up at six in the morning. Spent the night at my City Cyber. Immediately I rushed to my training room but I saw not even a bus! I hired a staff and I supposed to be at my cafe at seven o'clock. 7.10am I saw first Sri Jaya bus arrived with no passenger! Stop about 5 minutes and went off. I went down at 7.15. Another two Sri Jaya buses arrived at 7.30am still no passenger! I went to my cafe and my staff arrived at 7.20am.

Two Sri Jaya buses at 7.20am

First Metro Bus arrived after being expelled by City Hall from old bus station

First Express bus - Mara Liner arrived at 8.30am

Seven Eleven staffs happy with the sudden crowd in Rawang Terminal

Something need to be done to force buses to move to new terminal!

City Hall's cars arrived at 9.24

I was told that Metro Bus refused to move to new terminal. 8.30am Rawang Terminal was full with city hall's staffs on duty. They went to old terminal and expelled all Metro Buses and Srijaya buses to move to new Terminal. Situation at new terminal was kelam kabut! New Terminal suddenly full with buses including mini buses. Parking lots in front of my cafe to be filled with express buses in stages.

They have no choice...the terminal is now ready for them to move!

YB of PKR turned up for inspection!

We started receiving order from our customers. Mostly from city hall's staffs. Many of them hang at my cafe. I received complain from them of weird taste of the drinks made by my staff. I took over the job and no more complain heard! Wah...kelakarnyer! Macam bagus...

Chan - the powerful man in MPS

My new staff - Nor

I gave her simple briefing before we started our work.

Happy time for us after our long waiting !

My daughter Afifah and son Akbar helping in preparing burgers

Prepared for our new recipe of our burger. I taught my staff on how to prepare waffle. She performing quite well. She finished her work at 7pm and I paid her and she looked so happy!

My first burger with new recipe!

I was called into my cafe a few times by developer's staffs to put under their account on any order made by city hall's staff. All sponsored by them!

relaxing at my cafe!

In rushed... to clean later. Idea was given by our nephew Mohd Razmi Razak... Thanks Dek Mi!

Pity my husband.. he has another main task to be done... marking SPM paper...I felt guilty to trouble him. I love him so much!

My husband had meeting in the morning until 3.30pm at Damansara. Reached Rawang around 5pm and helped me at my cafe. I pity him but I have no choice. He sent my son at 7.45pm for tuition but at the same time I received too many orders from city hall's staffs and I was alone! They ate as much as they could as all for free! I called my husband and he returned to cafe and helped me. We closed our cafe at 10.15pm and I almost collapsed. On my way back to City Cyber, I was stopped by Indonesian girl (Sara Cafe's staff). She told me about her problem. I was so tired and I didn't know what she was mumbling about. Suddenly she cried on my shoulder.. I tried to calm her down but I didn't understand what was exactly her problem. I was really tired!

She kept mumbling when actually I could see stars in the sky!

Took my bath and try to finish my writing on my blog. Tomorrow will be my second day...
Bye... I want to sleep...
